This website is operated by Tandrima Mazumdar, a psychotherapist based in Manchester. I am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). You can contact me about this policy at tandrima.therapist@gmail.com.
When you use the contact form, I collect the information you choose to provide: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the service you're interested in, and your message. I do not currently use cookies or analytics tools that store personal data.
I use the details you provide only to respond to your enquiry, arrange a consultation, or provide the therapy services you ask about. If you book a session, I may hold your contact details and any agreed session information for the purpose of providing that service.
Under UK GDPR, my lawful bases are: consent, where you choose to send me information; legitimate interests, where I respond to enquiries from people interested in my services; and the steps needed to enter into or perform a contract, if you go on to book sessions.
Enquiry messages are kept only as long as needed to respond to and, where relevant, follow up on your enquiry. Session-related records are kept in line with professional record-keeping requirements for psychotherapy practice, and are handled confidentially.
I do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing. Messages sent through the website are delivered to my email account via a secure (HTTPS) connection. I use Google's email services, which have their own privacy practices.
This website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Email is not end-to-end encrypted, so please avoid including highly sensitive details in the contact form or first message; we can discuss any sensitive information in a session or by phone.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access the personal information I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, and ask for a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email tandrima.therapist@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
This website does not currently set any cookies or use analytics that collect personal data. If that changes in the future (for example, if analytics are added), this policy will be updated and, where required, your consent will be requested first.
